Designed to work in combination with Destron Fearing's Neck-Extender antenna (also known as the Head Gate antenna available singly or in a set - one right; one left) or Panel antenna configurations, the new Axiz SB-1 is a powerful, high-speed ISO reader that allows feedlots, dairies and sale barns to read livestock quickly, accurately and without the use of physical restraint.
PRODUCT FEATURES:- 16,000 tag memory
- ISO-compliant (FDX-B and HDX)
- LCD graphical display
- Programmable self-tuning
- Multiple reader synchronization
- Multiple port communication options
- -22 degrees to 158 degrees F (-30 degrees to 70 degrees C) temperature range
- FCC and IC approval in process
- AC or DC power supply
ADVANTAGES:
- Reads all ISO-compliant FDX-B and HDX tag technologies (11784/11785) including microtransponders and custom tag applications.
- Rugged construction and increased noise immunity make this reader ideal for "noisy" environments, including livestock processing facilities.
- State-of-the-art decoding technology allows tag numbers to be read from livestock moving rapidly past antenna systems without physical restraint. Read speed, based on antenna configuration, is up to 39 feet (12 m) per second.
- Internal diagnostics program can validate the system's performance while in use.
- The Axiz SB-1 utilizes multiple data logging options. Scanned tag numbers can be transmitted via Bluetooth wireless technology or via tethered (RS232, RS485 or USB) cable connections to a PDA, Windows-based PC or scale head.
- Simple "plug and use" programming and self-tuning capabilities maximize multiple antenna options and facilitiate use in numerous locations/environments and by multiple operators.
- LCD graphical display provides an easy-to-navigate menu and exhibits tag number, tag counter and status information.
- Synchronization facilitates use of multiple readers in close proximity.
- The Axiz SB-1 is designed to resist both dust and water and perform reliably in harsh conditions, including temperature ranges of -22 degress to 158 degrees F (-30 degrees to 70 degrees C).
- Reader features a field programmable port for custom applications. An external serial device can be attached for data logging.
- One-year warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used as directed. Use of the reader for functions other than RFID tag scanning may permanently damage the components and void the warranty. See official warranty statements in product manual for full details.

Approvals: FCC part 15 class A when used
with an FS2001 reader, IEEE STD C95.1 1999 Edition. Safety levels with respect
to human exposure.
Construcion: Molded in high-grade industrial
polyurethane material. Cleans easily and is immune to most chemicals used
during clean up.
Frequency: 134.2 kHz
Read Range: Up to 20 inches at optimal tag
orientation. 12 inches for ALL tag orientations. User environment may affect
read range.
Temperature Range: -25C to +50C
Dimensions: 45.7 x 24.1 x 2.5cm (18 x 9.5 x
1 incheas)
Interface: NEMA 6P watertight connector with
