Farnam LTS Readers/Antennas Promotion

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Reader is a key part of the Farnam Livestock Tracking System (LTS)

Designed to work with any ISO approved EID ear tag

Construction and Materials-Water and dust proof two-piece polyurethane and fiberglass panel. Materials and construction allow the panel to be placed on the inside of a chute next to the animal for optimum tag reading.

Operating Environments-The Panel Antenna can be fitted into any wooden structure or non-metal environment; it will work efficiently when attached to steel cattle handling equipment with open pipe/tube framing construction. Performance may be seiously affected if 25% to 30% or more of the antenna is positioned directly against sheet metal. Sheet metal will render any RFID reader ineffective and it is not recommended to attach or operate any RFID reader and antenna where sheet metal could affect tag read performance.
